Take an in-depth look into the Catholic Mass. The Mass Explained will walk you through a Catholic Mass while providing information and insights along the way. This video is an updated version to the Teaching the Mass video.

Father Jamie Utronkie, CC explains the different aspects of the Catholic Mass. Recorded Saturday April 25th, 2015 at Holy Trinity Pastoral Unint in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Draw Near began as a response to requests from the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, priests, parish ministers and people in the pew for a simple and practical way to understand and explain the Mass. The Draw Near video, explores the structure of the Mass overall, its particular parts and their meaning. The video utilizes the ritual as people experience it to foster deeper understanding and appreciation and reflects the Archdiocese of Chicago and the many communities of faith where the Eucharist is celebrated.

Week #5 -- Explanation of Reconciliation/Confession

This video is a great way to introduce the Sacrament of Reconciliation to those who may be returning to the Church after a long absence. It explains the importance of the sacrament, what happens during confession, and how to go to confession.

But for many, it can also be a very daunting experience, especially if it's been a long time since your last confession. Whether it's the first time you've gone in a year, or it's the first time you've gone in your life, God is ready and willing to forgive your sins. All we have to do is let him into our hearts.

Friends, is confession something you just haven't done in awhile? Maybe you are a little rusty and need a step by step process! Check out Father Rob's How To Go To Confession.
